Old photo repair
Photo repair and photo restoration is a very popular service.
I copy original photos then repair any damage or fading in the computer. The improvement is often dramatic.
The cost is based on £30.00 /hour computer time. I will give you a price before I start.
If you are not happy with the result I will return your originals without charge.

Much of what I do is free, however I do charge for time consuming jobs.
Film scanning
I use a Nikon 9000ED (4000dpi) which can handle
35mm & 120mm film.
I can scan negatives or slides up to 6x9cm.
Cost : £5.00 per scan
Mounting & Framing
I offer three different styles:
Block mounting. Paper photo prints are mounted onto thick (10mm), rigid black foam-core.
Quickest & cheapest and works well in sizes up to A3 (12 x 16”)
Floater frames. Images are mounted onto foam-core then set into a wooden frame with no glass. Neat, minimalist look, available in all sizes.
Traditional frames. Hand-made ash frames stained and polished to suit. The most expensive option.
I keep a small range of simple mouldings in stock which are suitable for framing photographs.
Landscape Photographers..
Copying Art work
I can copy original art-work such as oil paintings, water-colours and acrylics.
I use flash lighting and a digital camera.
Reflections are controlled with polarizing filters.
Accurate colour is obtained by using colour test charts and associated software designed for this purpose.
Cost: Up to A2 (16x24”) £25.00 each
Up to A1 (24x36”)30.00 each
The copy can be supplied on disc as a a hi-res jpeg, or printed onto fine-art paper or canvas.
