It is worth giving a few moments to consider how and where your image might be best displayed.
Photos often look best in a simple frame, clip-frames for example, actually work quite well, but I do not supply them, block mounting and floater frames are my offerings.
Ideally, work will look best if displayed on a plain uncluttered wall, out of direct sunlight and, if possible, lit from above so distracting reflections are kept to a minimum. Humid environments like bathrooms, kitchens and conservatories are not ideal as the fluctuating conditions constantly stress the frame and media. On the mantle piece over a fire is also not ideal, smoke will slowly discolour anything in the vicinity.
Of course these are all places that people including me like to hang pictures.... what is the point of having a favorite photo printed up if it stays hidden away in a dark corridor or spare bedroom ? Just bear in mind that its life expectancy will probably be reduced.
